Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to paid Devcomputelayer consultations and course packs confirmed by invoice or written agreement. The Site itself does not process payments.
Eligibility
Refund requests must come from the person or organisation named on the invoice and include the invoice number, purchase date, and reason. Consumer rights under mandatory German and EU law remain unaffected where they grant broader protection.
Timeframe
For digital reading packs not yet downloaded or unlocked, you may cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Once files are unlocked at your request, the service is considered commenced.
Full and partial refunds
Signal Call: Fully refundable if cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled call. Later cancellations are non-refundable except when we cancel.
Pathway Map and Counsel Retainer: If you cancel before the first session, we refund fees minus a €60 administration charge. After the first session, unused prepaid sessions may be refunded at 50% of their allocated value when notice is given at least five business days before the next booking. Completed sessions are non-refundable.
Non-refundable items
Third-party fees, completed one-to-one hours, customised document work already delivered, and alumni office-hour tickets after the live session begins are non-refundable.
Refund process
Email hello@devcomputelayer.digital with subject “Refund request” or call 03594 66 36 91. We confirm receipt within three business days and state whether documents are needed.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are issued within 14 business days to the original payment method when possible. Bank transfers may require IBAN confirmation. Currency conversion differences charged by your bank are outside our control.
Cancellation by Devcomputelayer
If we cancel a session or program and cannot offer a suitable alternative within a reasonable time, you receive a full refund for the affected prepaid portion.
Exceptions
We may offer goodwill adjustments for documented illness or visa emergencies that prevent participation. Employer-sponsored packages follow the cancellation clauses printed on the invoice if those clauses are stricter for no-shows.
